Links >> There are so many sources of news and comment about the drinks industry. Here are the ones I use most often.
Having been its editor for so long, of course I'm going to recommend my old magazine's website. It's an essential source of information for anyone who is interested in the UK off-trade and there's an impressive (and free) archive dating back over a decade. Another old haunt of mine, well worth visiting for its excellent in-depth articles as well as its trademark irreverence. I love the way it attacks some of the sacred cows of the wine trade. I'm particularly fond of the magazine, having been present at the conception and the birth! It's amazing to think that, until fairly recently, the UK wine
trade understood almost nothing about the most important people of all
-- consumers. Wine Intelligence has put that right and I'm proud to say
I'm one of its associate directors. The website is aimed at drinks buyers around the world and includes some meaty articles for readers who like an international perspective. |
